I was born on the 1st of January 1956. My parents worked in a factory that made children's swings. So, I was brought up with the sound of machinery and the smell of new paint. It made me want to be a crafsman.
At the age of five I was learning to play the classical guitar at the music school at Yamaha Music Pratumwan school.
At fifteen I was taking guitars apart to see how they were made. I tried many times but could not rebuild them. I was also playing guitar with the bands, the last one being " Shampoo" which was very popular at that time.
When I was twenty - one I wanted to learn how to play guitars with the best teacher in Thailand, Mr. Vithaya Vosbein but it was not possible. After some lesssons with teacher, Mr. Kamol Tom,I decided to go ahead making guitars on my own.
The next year I joined the British Council Library to do reserch for two years into the different types and qualities of wood used in the making of classical guitars.
When I was 28 years old I began a 3 years study of all aspects of wood by joining a group of people working in one of Thailand's Forest Department.
By the next year I had made and sold my first guitar.
In 1991, I approached my old guitar teacher,Mr. Kamol Tom, with the idea of him helping me to sell my guitars this began the next year. These day my mentor,Mr. Vittaya Vosbian give me great help in selling my guitars in Thailand as well as other countries.
When I started to make guitars, my uncle, who lived in England, sent me some very good manuals. One was about the life and work of a guitar maker, Romanillos and the other was a book by Standley Doubtfire.
